Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how ZERESOUQ Trading Co. LLC ("ZERESOUQ", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit zeresouq.com, shop with us, message us on WhatsApp or social media, or join our influencer and partner programmes.
ZERESOUQ is the controller of your personal data. We are based at Al Khaleej Center, Mankhool, Bur Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence no. 1201023).
We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). Where we serve customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia or other countries with their own data protection laws, we also respect the rights those laws give you.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to sell, deliver and support your order, and to run and improve our store.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health, religion or biometric information. Please do not send it to us.
How we use your information
We use your data only for the purposes below, each with a lawful basis.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Our payment and instalment partners may run their own automated checks; their privacy policies explain how.
Cookies, pixels and your choices
We use cookies and similar technologies, and you choose which non-essential ones run through the cookie banner on your first visit. You can change your choice any time via Cookie preferences in our footer.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may stop working. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of marketing cookies.
Who we share information with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the partners below, who may use it only to provide their service to us, or under their own privacy policy where they act independently.

If ZERESOUQ is ever reorganised, merged or sold, your data may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
International transfers
Some of our partners store or process data outside the UAE, including in the United States, the European Union, Canada and India (where several of our brand partners are based). When we transfer your data abroad, we rely on safeguards permitted by UAE law and, where relevant, GDPR, such as contractual data protection terms with the recipient. You can ask us for more detail about these safeguards.
Marketing communications
We send offers and new-arrival alerts only if you opt in. You can stop them at any time:
- Email: click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email.
- SMS or WhatsApp: reply STOP, or message us on +971 58 827 0184.
- Ads: turn off marketing cookies in Cookie preferences, or adjust your ad settings on Meta and Google.
You will still receive service messages about your orders, deliveries and returns.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data, unless we must keep it by law (for example, invoices for VAT).
- Restrict or object to certain uses, including all direct marketing.
- Port your data to you or another company in a common electronic format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.
To use these rights, email support@zeresouq.com with the subject "Privacy request". You can also update your details and close your account from My Account. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We aim to respond within 30 days and will tell you if we need longer.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office. If you live in the EU or UK, you can contact your local data protection authority.
How long we keep your data

After these periods we delete or anonymise your data.
How we protect your data
Our site runs on HTTPS, checkout is PCI-DSS compliant through Shopify and our payment partners, and staff access to customer data is limited and protected by two-factor login. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
Our store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and email you about significant changes if you have an account.
